D.G.S. (Grinding Wheels & Machines) Limited was founded by Daniel George Stevens in 1967.
At the commencement of its incorporation a factory manufacturing abrasive cutting-off wheels was created in Stockport and distribution was organised through the Wolverhampton warehouse and offices.
In 1973 a Southern division was established in Portsmouth, and since then both the Wolverhampton Head Office and Portsmouth have diversified into all areas of abrasive media.
The D.G.S. Group of Companies is now a well established manufacturing and distribution operation with over 50 years experience and 20 employees, most have been part of this progressive friendly family company for all of their working life.
